I thought about that, but no ... I think it has to be almost the entire score, which has to have been a score written originally for that original musical.
I would be very curious to see if you could do a new musical with a new story and characters with at least 75% of a score from a different original musical, without adding new songs. Or even hey, you can add 2 other songs maybe? More fun if you don't. What show's score would you do? It's like a found-materials challenge on Project Runway. |
