It's only a G at the end of Act I - it's not ultra high. J. Pierrepont Finch sings as high, as does Charley Kringas. Also, keys can change. (Some of the keys in the current rental version are different than on Broadway - for instance, "With Every Breath" is higher - Kay McClelland could manage a low C# but not everyone can lol.) Double Talk gets up to a G#, but that's a high as Stine sings - and that song could be lowered a bit and still work. "Funny" only gets up to an F.

You may be right that Radcliffe's vocal quality isn't the best choice for the role. But he has the range.
