I’m not one to visit ticket selling sites on a search for trends but since I’m late in acquiring Gypsy seats, I was surprised at how available it is, particularly in January and before that, over the holidays. Expecting Groban Sweeney sales, I didn’t see evidence of a comparable consumer experience. At least yet. The $271-$321 top for orchestra and front mezz struck me as too high for the general audience. The show is oft revived and beyond the NY aficionados, this beloved star might not inspire Groban level investment. | |
