| this is one of my all time fave movie. Johnny Green's orchestrations actually improve the score'. Onna Whites dances and musical staging are deserving of the honorary Oscar she received/ watching a seminar she was on, she said it was john green who recommended for the prize.and tho Shani Wallis was also there, white was asked why they didn't uses Georgia Brown,; miss white said 'i heard she didn't test well.' but I HAD SEEN miss Wallis in A TIME FOR SINGING in Boston(Walter Kerr didn't like her but i did) and i thought she was splendid. | |
