You’re right about the character kneeling on his injured knee in bed to romance his wife. I noticed that, too.
But otherwise I don’t agree that this musical is based on weak material. Gun and Powder has a terrific score and it’s entertaining as well yet it still manages to tell an uplifting message while making satiric points. |
