Yes he did... quite a few years after his Oscar winning smash blockbuster movie of Chicago, which was quite a few years after Chicago was done at Encores...
So while I loathe most of what he did with and to the Nine movie, I don't know how this has anything to do with whether or not he was asked to direct a staged concert of Chicago with the two notable leads in his lauded full production of the show in the early-mid 90s... |
