| Here we go again...I tend to have "Mendel Misfortunes". She was out of RENT 30 years ago when I attended. She was out of THE WILD PARTY when I saw it. I saw half of her performance in IF/THEN (She could not continue after ACT I and after an interminable intermission of 50 minutes she was replaced by the wonderful Jackie Burns.) Worked with her at Goodspeed in SUMMER OF '42 before she was replaced for off-Broadway...but that's another story... Can't imagine the producers of REDWWOOD are too happy this moment… And maybe a little scared given her track record. Good luck to standby Jessica Phillips tonight. I'll be pullin' for her. |
