| The only action in the short sequence is Billy telling Julie he will go to the clambake and his return with the knife. Since Julie sees the knife in the Clambake scene on the island and asks Billy not to go with Jigger, that his the same information repeated. So it is possible to end the first act with the end of the soliloquy which is his decision to commit the robbery. The June reprise not necessary to the action. |
