Having not been in that theater myself, my read on the OP's issue (oh-pee?) isn't that multiple/non-genders are using the same restroom. It is that the female-identifying patrons/stall-users were ushered into the restroom to stand in uncomfortable proximity to those using the urinal, without benefit of a divider. For those who might have...performance anxiety...it can be weird to have someone that close. The poster may be speaking out of concern for the waiting patrons who perhaps aren't expecting to find themselves that close to the action, either. I understand that usually there is only a thin divider, if at all, between urinal users themselves, but it does offer some kind of comfort barrier. I think in terms of decorum - again, not having seen the available space in the hallway - it might be nicer to have the line of those waiting for a stall to be held outside the actual restroom instead of immediately behind those actively...discharging.

This is probably/hopefully the new normal, but it may still take time for a lot of us to get used to. Eventually, we'll all be w(h)izzes at it.

Wishing you all pee-ce and joy for the holiday season.
