| Yes, I read it too(in the book COLORED LIGHTS?). Anyway, I quickly just now researched it and found that it was the second song they wrote together(after "My Coloring Book"). At a dinner party, they were challenged to write a song, their speed already being known. Ebb asked what should they should write about and Kander replied "I don't care much." Ebb said to give him a waltz, Kander began it on the piano, and it was done right then and there. | |
