| A few years ago my sister and her husband were visiting me in NYC during Christmas time and we happened to walk past Radio City but didn't have tickets to the Spectacular. Her husband went up to the box office and spoke to someone there briefly and came back with three discounted tickets to the performance that was set to begin momentarily. I don't know if that was an anomaly (he can be pretty damn charming), but I would imagine with so many performances and undoubtedly seats available that can't normally be sold just a few minutes before curtain, they were happy enough to let a few go at a discounted price rather than not have them sell at all. |
