The orchestra was full last night. I overheard someone say this was autumn Herbert’s first performance as alternate. I would not of realized that. She was flawless in the part. She got a partial standing o for the cry song (Evita of Tammy Faye).
As for spine tingling, that hasn’t happened for years for me until last Sunday with kiss me kate during too darn hot. In fact, after 11 ny shows, I’m still humming kiss me Kate songs. The only good show was mattress. Sutton foster is a comic genius and broadway treasure. |
