I am curious why it has to be post 1985, which excludes one of the most prominent from Sunday in the Park With George?
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has a lyric about being dressed like a chimp in a suit.
Sunset Boulevard, although it's in the dialogue and not a lyric.
Phantom of the Opera, the music box with the Monkey on top is described by the auctioneer.
