No, as we all know being theater queens, you hear a song once in a show and you know immediately if you love it or not. Day By Day is a great song, yes, it was also a radio pop hit because of that. Not because I heard it over and over and over again. Schwartz's comment that it's a "stupid criterion" is just him being defensive of his inferior, in my opinion score for Wicked. I've only seen the movie, so I don't know Act 2, so in your eyes, I've no authority to comment but judging by Act 1, there wasn't one song I liked. You can't force chemistry. But I'll be honest, I'd not complain if I made a fortune off of something that perhaps my best work, seriously.
