| A truly brilliant and original writer and cartoonist. I am so glad that I saw the Broadway production of Grown Ups, and I am only sorry that I waited till closing weekend to see it or I would have gone back to see it again. Sadly, the television production, although directed by the same director as the Broadway production (John Madden), did not work at all (IMO). I think it's probably his best play. Used to look forward to his weekly cartoon in The Village Voice. May he rest in peace. |
