On Watch What Happens last night, Andy Cohen asked Keke Palmer if she had any desire to return to Broadway. She responded that she's working with Debbie Allen on a production of Fetch Clay, Make Man that's aimed for Broadway later this year.

Will Power's play, about a meeting between Stepin Fetchit and Muhammad Ali, was first produced at New York Theatre Workshop in 2013. Allen directed a production at Center Theatre Group in LA in 2023. Both productions featured Ray Fisher as Ali. Palmer would be playing Ali's first wife, Sonji Roi.

Palmer was previously seen on Broadway as a replacement in Cinderella in 2014. She was rumored at one point to be under consideration for Louise in the current revival of Gypsy.
