I agree with the OP's surprise and unease. I'm also not comfortable with a crowd in the bathroom -- especially if it's a line of men/women at my back as I'm trying to urinate. In this particular instance he's describing, it was a line of women rushing to use the facilities before the 2nd act curtain. I think most/all people on this board are supportive of trans rights, but it's interesting that there is a general assumption that men have no issues when women use the Men's room. This "antiquated" Men's/Women's bathroom system was hard-wired into many GenX/Boomers and, while I'm all for this "We-don't-care-which-bathroom-you-use, just-wash-your-hands" attitude, sharing a bathroom is still a challenge to get used to. Be kind to the OP please.
