I'd love my next London trip to overlap with this. I saw the rest of the original cast but was very very bummed that Andre was out the day I saw it. His performance, from the lack of him in the role at least, feels very key to this production. Maybe it was that I saw an understudy (very talented but not quite the same) and not a unique star cast for the role (like some of Andre's replacements). Either way I'd love to see the original cast again.
Unlikely the timing will work but hey. |
