WICKED Film - the sound mix

Saw it in the theatre today. Overall a very enjoyable film and visually beautiful. What I found unforgivable though was the quality of the audio mix. From the very start during "No One Mourns" the sound was a muddled mess. The vocals often hidden under the orchestra and atmospheric/foley effects. I felt like I never properly hear Erivo singing "Gravity" because of the wind and swooshing cape sound effects as she flew around with the loud orchestra drowning her out. Her vocals were placed far from front and center. And don't get me started on the jarring subwoofer effects (do doors really sound like that when they are gently pushed closed?). I was expecting perfect sound this being a very high budget film. I'm looking forward to eventually streaming it so that I can hear it without the mix constantly drawing attention to itself.
