Disagree re the size of the Palace which, if the balcony isn't sold, has about 1350 seats. "Glengarry" should play well there if it's given an effective production by Patrick Marber, who staged "Lepoldstadt". My first viewing of the play was at the Curran in San Francisco, I was a student, the play starred Peter Falk and it was riveting. The Curran has over 1500 seats, I believe. I look forward to seeing "Glengarry" again. It's interesting, however, that plays like "Glengarry" and "Good Night, Look Luck" at the Winter Garden are taking what are generally musical houses, while straight play houses like the Golden, the Longacre, Belasco, and (for orver two decades- the Ambassador) are now housing musicals.
