I agree with everything you are saying, but in the current climate on Broadway, it needs to gross at least $900,000 per week to make it to the spring. I bought a cheap rush ticket for $40, but was unhappy with the assigned seat so I negotiated my way into a center one in the front mezzanine for an additional fee.

Although it's a very enjoyable show, I wouldn't pay the price they are asking for a decent orchestra seat. I'm afraid today's economics are against a show that is very good, but probably one that is not going to be a blockbuster. I hope I'm wrong.
