But when you're sometimes a composer and sometimes a lyricist, I think the distinction needs to be clear. I assume a number of people probably assume that Schwartz wrote the music for Rags, and probably also assume he wrote the score for Hunchback, etc. Hell, I know there are people who think Webber wrote Les Miz lol, because of the genre. :-)
I know that the Tony for Best Score includes the lyrics. I was trying to make a different point. Thanks. |
