Same. I adore the movie and have since I was a kid when it came out (or teen?).
Jesse Green, if I remember correctly, opened his review dismissing/bashing the movie as unfunny (i think he even said those who remember it remember it as unfunny, which I think is significantly misrepresenting the truth)... and then went on to rave about the show and how funny it is, no? So I can't trust him either.
I can't trust anyone on this. I have seen raves from people who hated the movie. Raves from people who loved it. Pans from people who hated the movie, and pans from people who loved it. |
