| Yes, gypsy is a great musical but death of a salesman is also a great play. I encourage you to find the televised version of the original play and I dare you not to cry when Mildred Dunne says I can’t cry Willie and at the end and at the end she is a crying copiously. I have seen gypsy many times, but I have never cried, but I have cried many times watching the glass menagerie.. that is why it is so often revived the same as gypsy. |
