| My memory is that it's not one of the better ones in the series, although it's certainly ambitious. I think Topol is a bit miscast, and Tom Conti is surprisingly awkward in the confrontation scene at the end. Still, it's a film of the play done by good people. I recall Gielgud nailing his great scene. |
