You're more kind to this production than I am. I found it cheap looking and somewhat foolish.
Nicole mugged more than Imelda in Gypsy. That was an accomplishment.
No set. Silly, meaningless choreo. Stark lighting. A lot of fog. Meh.
To me, it's a case of the emperor's new clothing. |
