Dolores Gray won the 1954 Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for ''Carnival in Flanders,'' which ran for only 6 performances.

Even more remarkably, its run was from Sept. 8-12, 1953, and the 1954 Tonys weren't even held until March 28, 1954.

''Carnival in Flanders'' has a score by Jimmy Van Heusen and Johnny Burke and might be best remembered for its classic ''Here's That Rainy Day.''
