You're exaggerating a little. The house opened at 6:50PM and it started about 10 minutes late. And I was allowed to go to the box office at 6:30PM. But there was an air of chaos that could have been calmed by some information.

I was expecting an understudy but an usher told me it was "technical difficulties".

Maybe Kecia Lewis decided to complain about the volume of "Dream a Little Dream" and they were lowering the sound cues. Those Lancashire hoteliers are LOUD.....
