I was transported by the original Broadway production of FUN HOME. When I saw it on tour later in a 2700-seat proscenium theater, I didn't enjoy it as much. It dragged in parts and I think it was because the intimacy of Circle in the Square created an urgency that got swallowed up in a huge house.
