Yes, he did. I was there. It was 2/3 of the Way through the first act. After several rings and completely in character, Stahlbarg turned to the area where the person was and pointed declaring “turn it off “ and then seamlessly turned back to his acting partner.
It was a weird moment because his character answers a cell phone in his pocket several times during the play, at first several audiences thought it was part of the play. |
